I love Silverlight! This is the technology of the future! I've had enough of Java Script and other HTML non sense for past 20 years with all the cross browser issues.

What Rajmund is saying about this Meetup Group

Because it's about the best technology ever created on the planet allowing you to do things in the markup you should easily do without lot of back end programming. No technology so far offered loose coupling of UI to a code behind without doing own tricks or patterns. HTML/CSS/JS combo should be highly discouraged and retired. Traditional web programming is no way reusable, you write the page, then when the look and feel need to change most of it gets recycled. And the stupid "session expired" idea: why users can not continue entering data after 2 hours lunch? The server racks are overwhelmed while billions of desktops are underutilized as UI gets rendered on a server for every interaction step. I feel being only one among 5 billion other people when I'm saying "Enough JavaScript blowing up every other site out there. Stop it.". Too many other people do still enjoy primitive, limited and cumbersome technologies created 15 years ago without any vision where it could possibly go...
