Our relationships are the most important thing - so let's build up our social solidarity together, and get as many people in involved as we can!

People are finding out about activism more personally - mostly through word of mouth - so please invite anyone you think might be interested in becoming an activist/ community organizer, deepening their activism, or supporting all people to become strong, effective leaders in our movements!

We hope to see and work with you soon!

Check out ActivismAtlanta.org/Activism101 and BeautifulRising.org for an idea of our intentions.

ACTIVIST BUDDY SYSTEM FOR MENTORING ACTIVISTS TO GROW

LAMOUR is developing an activist buddy system for mentoring new (or experienced!) activists.

It is challenging to get involved in social / climate justice work. People may not know where to start, or feel overwhelmed, inadequate, or cynical, making it harder to do effective activist work.

We know we need to support each other, especially new folks, as we figure out how to win the world we need and take committed action. If you want to be paired with a mentor, or offer yourself as one, OR BOTH, sign up and share here: bit.ly/ActivistBuddy

JUSTICE IS CALLING. Are you answering?

Are you outraged by injustice but don't know what to do? New to activism and/or want to get more involved/connected? Want to support new and current activists/community organizers in solidarity and love?

Join Us every first tuesday of the month starting August[masked]

These activist meet and greets are meant as informal and semi-structured gathering to support activists to build community.

Our relationships are the most important thing - so let's build up our social solidarity together, and get as many people in involved as we can!

We will have an Activist Speed-Friending activity where we get in groups of 2-3 and ask each other get-to-know-you questions.

We will also learn more about what it really means to be an activist / someone organizing for change, and meet some of the folks on the front lines doing the work needed to transform society and transition into a better world.

People are finding out about this mostly through word of mouth so please personally invite anyone you think might be interested in becoming an activist/ community organizer, deepening their activism, or supporting all people to become strong, effective leaders in our movements!

We hope to see you there this month and in the future! ~ Check out our meetup or facebook group in between meet and greets to communicate with one another and keep up with events!
