It's that time of the year again, when folks go nuts and decorate their homes and neighborhoods with all kinds of electronic displays. Join us for a holiday night cruise to some of the area's best spots for gawking and gazing.

Please only add guests to your RSVP if they're riding; don't include passengers.

Meet at NoHo Scooters at 6PM. Kickstands Up (KSU) at 6:30-6:45.

From NoHo, we head to the famous Christmas Tree Lane ( and the Balian Mansion ( From there it's off to Upper Hastings Ranch, where the whole neighborhood is lit up with holiday sprit.

Dinner stop at Clearman's Galley ( ("The Boat") in San Gabriel.

On the way back we'll hit the light display in San Marino on St Albans Rd, then finish up in Old Town Pasadena.

Turn-by-turn directions/route (PDF):

This is ride can take a several hours depending on traffic. The weather's often nippy, so bundle up!

It's also good to know your way home from either Clearman's Galley or Old Town, as we usually head in different directions at the end of the ride.

Give the likely size of this ride, we cannot accommodate numerous pick up points along the way or estimate when we'll be riding through a certain intersection.

Speeds on this ride vary from 25mph to 55mph (in one straight section), so all scooters should be capable of maintaining those speeds.

This is obviously a night ride, so those attending should be comfortable riding in the dark. The attendance for this one is high and there are a couple moderately twisty but scenic roads, so this may not be good for inexperienced riders. (We skipped some of those roads last year due to the rain but hope to return this time!)

BEST-DECORATED SCOOTER WINS prizes to be announced later because I just thought of doing this.

Judging will take place at dinner stop at Clearman's. Details and rules to come.
