• What does the digital divide really look like here in LA? What percentage of the LA population has full internet capabilities in their homes?
• Learn about the three-legged stool of this need: hardware, internet connectivity and digital literacy.
• Why is 24/7 home technology critical and what are the limitations of Starbucks, library and community internet access?
• How does digital exclusion impact the full range of people's lives, from banking to homework to job applications and more?
• How do FCC policies that deny internet as a necessary utility – not a luxury! – contribute to false assumptions?

Transportation & parking:
– Accessible by Metro train, via the Expo/Vermont stop or by bus (the DASH).
– For those driving, there is metered parking (enforced until 8 or 9pm) on all streets around our campus - Figueroa, Exposition, Vermont, and Jefferson Blvds. This would be the cheapest parking option, other than free parking on the residential streets. Since we will be meeting during the evening time, the residential streets near Jefferson & Ver
– Finally, there are parking lots (included in the map). Parking is $12/day.
