Join us at the Life Enrichment Center for an array of classes, including painting (oils, acrylics, watercolors, pastels), drawing, creative writing, clay, tai chi, mah jong, bridge, and much more!

Our attendees are active adults of all ages (primarily 50+). Our professional instructors work with participants at all skill levels, so everyone is welcome and included. Classes are small and one-on-one attention is provided. This is a fun place, with friendly people who have similar interests. There is no other place like us in Tampa!
As our society continues to age and lives longer, organizations like ours are becoming even more important. Research indicates that baby boomers are going to be looking for activities that challenge and stimulate them and enable them to explore creative options for which they have not previously had time. This is exactly what the Life Enrichment Center is all about – offering innovative classes and activities that provide adults with the opportunity to continue to learn and grow.

About the Class:Diamond Painting has really taken off in the last couple of years.
“Diamond painting (also known as crystal art) is the process of applying tiny resin rhinestones (known as “diamonds”) to a pre-printed design, usually an adhesive board to create sparkling, vibrant and uplifting pieces of mosaic-style art.”With hundreds if not thousands of kits available you can create anything-- from stickers or magnets to famous works like Van Gogh’s Starry Night to a custom piece made from your own photography.
It has proven to be therapeutic, promoting mindfulness. It’s a calm activity that allows the artist to relax and go at their own pace. Diamond art is fun to do either as a solo activity or with family and friends.

Classes Meet at FHUMCChair Yoga is a modified variation of traditional yoga. It has similar mental and physical benefits. Its a wonderful option for anyone, especially seniors, those with mobility issues, or even those who spend long hours at desks. (You may also opt to use a mat for all or part of the class.)

In Person Only“Bridge is the ultimate card game,” says instructor John Chaplick. It features strategy, teamwork, and fun. Whether you play casually with friends or seriously in a tournament, bridge is a great source of social enjoyment.
This class is designed to familiarize students with the basics of bridge, to strengthen their confidence when playing the game, and to meet new people to play bridge with!
If you always wanted to play Bridge but didn’t know where to start, then this beginner-friendly course is perfect for you! It is a great way to refresh your bridge skills, sharpen your game, or learn to play for the very first time.
