EPW at the Fifth Annual Northern Virginia Pride Festival
Equality Prince William has been a vendor at the annual NoVA Pride Festival since the first Nova Pride Festival in 2014 and will be there again this year. Come on by and find out what's happening in Prince William County and the cities of Manassas Park and Manassas. Festival Hours: 11 am - 8 pm. And if you want to volunteer to help staff the E-PW booth, we would welcome that as well, sign up link here: Volunteer Hours: 9:30 am - 5 pm. To get to the festival from Prince William, take Business 234 to US 29 (Lee Highway). Turn right to head north on Lee Highway and when you get to Bull Run Post Office road, turn right. As soon as you cross over I-66, turn left and you will be headed to the Festival Grounds. E-PW looks forward to seeing you at NoVA Pride on Saturday. From NoVA Pride's website: "United In Pride This year’s festival theme is “United in Pride,” and we are inviting everyone in the pro-equality community to attend our festival united by our shared appreciation for diversity and acceptance. “Our community's incredible diversity, capacity to embrace intersectional issues, and just overall resiliency in the face of adversity... it's inspiring. I look forward to the entire Northern Virginia community to come set an example, being United by Pride during such a divided time in our history.” - Brian Reach, President & Executive Director With hateful rhetoric, tribalism, and division sometimes seeming to be the only news out there, we invite everyone in the pro-equality community to stand United in Pride, setting an example for unity through diversity and strength through intersectionality. Come and celebrate yourself, celebrate those around you, and celebrate community in a safe space."
