The Talk:

Gradle is an open-source build automation tool focused on flexibility and performance. Gradle build scripts are written using a Groovy or Kotlin DSL.

Gradle supports many major IDEs, including Android Studio, Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA, Visual Studio 2017, and XCode. You can also invoke Gradle via its command line interface in your terminal or through your continuous integration server. Gradle build scans help you understand build results, improve build performance, and collaborate to fix problems faster.

About our Speaker:

Aram Mirzadeh, an avid photographer who also is an emeritus Director of the Apache Software Foundation has worked in IT and programming for a $#*! @*# long time. Aram works from home as the Development and DevOps Manager for Dimension Data’s Group CTO office.

Enter the Dealertrack lot from either New Hyde Park Road or the LIE Service Road, park in the rear of the building near or in the parking structure, enter from that side, and check in at the security desk.

From the Great Neck LIRR station, take the n25 or n26 MTA bus. From the New Hyde Park Station, take the n25 MTA bus. In both cases, ask the driver to stop at Dealertrack. We'll get you back to the LIRR station after the meetup. If you're arriving at either station before 6:10 and want a ride in at that time, message us.
