Autonomous Vehicles

The development of driverless vehicles has been going on for several years now. Not only are the major automobile manufacturers involved, but companies such as Google, Uber and Lyft are prime movers in this space. While many are in awe of this new technology, there are still many unanswered questions concerning autonomous vehicles.

Join us on for a roundtable discussion on Autonomous Vehicles, where we explore some of these issues.

Here are just a few questions that will be part of our discussion:

• How does inclement weather affect self-driving vehicles?

• How does a driverless car deal with making left turns in heavy traffic?

• How does a driverless car interpret the instructions of hand-waving police officers?

• Will your insurance on a driverless car go down? (It may not be what you think!)

6:30 PM: Network with others over delicious food and soft drinks. We will be having deli heroes: American, Italian, and Grilled Vegetables plus coleslaw, macaroni and potato salads. So, bring your appetite.

7:00 PM: Introductions, LICN announcements and discussions

Between our normal non-Meetup crowd and those on this Meetup list, we expect to have a good 40 or so people attending, so bring your business cards to share when networking.
