Small Business Roundtable, Part 4

Details
This meeting will be a continuation of last month's meeting on the business side of running a small consulting business.
We will invite seasoned members of the audience to tell about the tips and tricks that worked for them.
This might include topics such as:
• Brain sucking -- and how to avoid it
• Useful hardware/software publication resources and tools
• Advice to people just starting a business
We will also discuss what worked and what didn’t in our own businesses:
• Starting the business: Our motivations and initial steps
• Working with partners and/or mentors
• Key factors responsible for our success
• Obstacles we had to overcome
• Memorable projects
6:30 PM: Network with others over delicious food and soft drinks. We will be having deli heroes plus coleslaw, macaroni and potato salads. So, bring your appetite.
7:00 PM: Introductions, LICN announcements and presentation
Between our normal non-Meetup crowd and those on this Meetup list, we expect to have a good 40 or so people attending, so bring your business cards to share when networking.
More info about the LICN can be found at www.licn.org. Read our blog at licn.typepad.com.
