1-day retreat with Bhante Sujatha and Cheryl Slader

Details
Bhante Sujatha and Cheryl Slader will offer a one-day retreat at Stillpoint Center for Spiritual Development.
Bhante will be guiding us through meditations, giving dharma talks, teaching sutra studies, and giving us his healing blessings. Just back from receiving a humanitarian award in Shri Lanka we are very blessed that Bhante is making a special trip to spend the day with our Las Vegas community.
Cheryl will offer gentle yoga, movement, and a yoga nidra (yoga sleep) sessions.
See the 1-day retreat flyer under the "More" tab on this site.
There will be a lunch break and students are welcome to leave or encouraged to bring their own lunch.
Wear comfortable, appropriate clothing; jeans are not recommended or loose (or tight, low fitting) tops that expose the chest area. Be conservative and respectful of Bhante as a monk.
Bring any meditation cushions or benches, cushions, blankets, or anything else you might find helpful for meditation. Chairs will be available for those who prefer to sit in one for meditation. Cheryl will bring yoga mats for those who don't have one, but if you do have your own, please bring it.
The cost is $75 for the day (special rate if purchased ahead) and $90 at the door. This charge is not associated with LitDS no LitDM.
Please call or see Cheryl to purchase tickets 702-592-1396 or teachpeacenow@yahoo.com.
Space is limited, first come first serve.
Hope you can be there!
Note that it is only 2.3 miles (about 7 minutes) from Stillpoint to the LitDS meeting at the library. Spend the day with Bhante Sujatha and Cheryl Slader, and then continue your practice in the late afternoon with LitDS. There is a small overlap of ending at Stillpoint and beginning at the library, but remember that sitting meditation with LitDS begins about 4:20 pm. So, you if you arrive and meditation has already begun, just come in respectfully and join us. Any noise or motion is nothing more than noise or motion, and our meditation will continue with or without it.
