For October's LOHAUS Inspirational Speakers Series, join wellness innovator Amena Lee Schlaikjer for an intimate, provocative and often out of sight/out of mind conversation about our excrement.
Her keynote, titled Reframing Poo: The need to innovate our thinking about bodily waste, will show how an activity which we all have in common, and may take for granted, can actually be a source of new information about your health, diet, and lifestyle.
Why you should attend:
Learn why Amena is so passionate to share new pooing techniques, how to ID your poo for health, and why we need to be talking more about this topic as human beings but also design thinkers who need to shift our connection with universal daily habits.
Spend part of this talk conducting a mini-ideation session around these new bodily waste insights and how they might shape a less shitty world.

About the Speaker
Amena Lee Schlaikjer is a wellness innovator, health coach and facilitator of ideas that create change. She followed entrepreneurs early in her career from New York to Shanghai to launch lifestyle brands like Vogue, M.A.C and Zagat Survey for 8 years and eventually landed as a start-up manager at WhatIf?!, the world’s largest independent innovation company, to learn the big picture strategies of companies that wanted to innovate and truly understand how their consumers tick. Instead of building strategies to support an over-consuming world, she now focuses on using her background in innovation to create brands and cultures of health and positive impact under her initiative, The Wellness Works, so that people and brands can thrive.
