Recording & Editing Live Music

This Friday, Finchley Film Makers (FFM) are delighted to be joined by Stuart Little of KLA Film and Video Communication for an evening on recording and editing live music.

Stuart has been making films for 50 years, including 20+ years as a professional. Recently, he has been focusing on making videos of live classical choral and jazz performances (including of music he wrote himself). He plans to cover all aspects of the process:

• Pre-shoot preparation,
• equipment required,
• set up choices,
• arranging and directing a multi-camera crew,
• artist liaison,
• creative choices,
• achieving optimal audio and visuals,
• organising and editing resultant sound and video files and
• distribution of the final product.
