Details
We will meet in the parking lot and at 8 AM head up for a short hike. When we return at 9AM, we'll gather at a picnic table and journal in response to an excerpt from the Bible. There will be different selections each week and a simple format for a writing prompt. We'll wrap it up with optional sharing.
I hope to make the most of the inspiration we feel while in nature by exploring connections between Creation, Creator and our lives. What meaning could stories that have been told for thousands of years hold for us? No previous knowledge of the Bible is required, just bring an open heart and mind.
Bring whatever you hike with, your own drinks or snacks, and something to write with. You can bring a journal if you like. I will provide a paper version of the week's verses.
Please note that the meet up template does not allow me to say that we will NOT be meeting on the first Sunday of each month. We WILL be meeting on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, (and 5th) Sundays of each month.
