This workshop is a group Gong Bath session during which each person receives a 1 to 1 Sound Massage Peter Hess Method.

A Gong Bath is an opportunity for you to totally relax. To forget the world for a time and sink into an ocean of healing soundwaves - to be 'bathed' in sound.

Nothing at all will be required of you, except to find a comfy space on the floor, close your eyes, breathe deeply and allow the sounds to wash over you leaving your soul cleansed and your energetic system revitalized...

Sound massage is based on ancient knowledge concerning the effect of sounds that was applied in Indian healing therapy as long as more than 5000 years ago. According to Eastern ideas man was created out of sound, i.e. he is sound. If a human being is "in tune" with himself and his environment, then he or she is able to arrange his/her life freely and creatively.

Based on the theory that vibrations free up any negative energy that’s been stored up around the body, this type of massage uses sound waves to produce gentle rhythmic pulsations. These baby beats then massage each individual cell, working out any stored up tension that’s been lurking there.

Sound massage with singing bowls is a sound therapy where singing bowls are placed on the dressed body or into the health aura and tapped gently with a felt mallet. The calming harmonising sounds as well as the gentle vibrations of the singing bowls induce a feeling of well-being and a very effective deep relaxation ("sound-based relaxation"). With people in good health sound massage can support the development of their inner harmony and provide them with energy and strength for their daily tasks. Creativity and productive energy receive new impulses. With physical, mental and psychological issues, sound massage can help to bring relief from pain and problems that cause daily stress, worries, and anxiety.
