Walk at Hugh Taylor Birch Park

Hugh Taylor State Park

Hugh Taylor Birch Park is a really cool park between the ocean and the intercoastal. It has a really nice road for walking that takes us by the intercoastal that is 1.9 miles. In addition, if some are interested, there is also a nature hike that is just under a mile. Afterwards we can go to their restaurant on the ocean side for a social time. There is a $4.OO entrance fee for 1 in a vehicle or $6.00 per vehicle with 2 or more passengers, so carpool if you can! (See below for where we will meet to get started.) Please un-rsvp if you can't make it so we know not to wait for you.

Walk at TCMA (Township Community at Coconut Creek)

Get the stress out from the day! This is a very pretty walk through the complex that surrounds a nice lake. It is fairly well lit and a good place to walk since it gets dark so early. It is approximately 1 mile, so you can choose your distance as to how many times you want to go around. Some do 3 times, others less. • What to bring Water bottle, appropriate exercise shoes and clothing.

Morning Walk

Pompano Beach Community Park

Just do it! This is a great walking path which is a mile around. Some like to do 1/2 mile, and some of us go around 2 or 3 times. You can choose your distance.
