You spoke, we listened! In our member survey, you told us you needed help making your tech talk dreams a reality in 2020.

We had this all planned out before COVID hit. Then all in-person events were cancelled. We've now restructured it to bring it to you online via Zoom!

“Get Heard In 2020” is a series of workshops, inspired by Global Diversity Call For Proposals Day (GDCFP Day) (https://www.globaldiversitycfpday.com/), designed to give you everything you need to generate ideas, create your bio, talk title and abstract and, finally, practice your talk in a supportive, brave space!

This series is for you if you’re telling yourself any of the following:

  • There are no new ideas.
  • Nobody wants to hear what I have to say.
  • I’m too inexperienced.
  • I’m not technical so I can’t give a tech talk.
  • I haven’t done or learnt anything interesting.
  • I can’t think of anything to put in my bio.

What you'll need:
