In this talk, we’ll explore our role, as humans, in human-centered artificial intelligence. And in particular, the role of designers. We dive into artificial intelligence and how the field is shifting from technological towards humanistic; from focusing on algorithmic performance towards focusing on human performance. As artificial intelligence is increasingly playing a role in our lives, how can we make sure it benefits people and society?

SPEAKER
Nathalie is a cofounder at DEUS: humanity-centered AI. As a strategic lead, she focuses on bridging business strategy, human-centered design, and data science & engineering, to create responsible AI applications that create value for people & businesses. She also oversees the AI in Practice research initiative at DEUS, to provide practical guidance and tools, share industry learnings, best practices, and processes in the field of AI.
