Ladies that UX Belfast - Meetup 2

On 13th August we'll be hosting our 2nd LTUX Belfast meetup to recap themes from our last session, do a presentation workshop with multidisciplinary designer Lydia Mokros and hear from Mark Devlin from Fathom about accessible web design.

We'll be joined by Gareth Stirling from the WebTalksNI podcast and you'll have a chance to chat with him if you are interested in a career in UX or to speak on his awesome podcast. So join us for an action packed evening!

There will be cupcakes and tea & coffee on arrival, so come on down and grab some before they go!

The meeting will be hosted in The Vault, Catalyst Belfast Fintech Hub located in the Danske Bank building beside City Hall.

About our speakers:

Lydia Mokros

Lydia Mokros is a German multidisciplinary designer, excited about creative strategies and sharing knowledge through designed experiences. After graduating from “Integrated Design” in Bremen (Germany), Lydia worked as a freelancer and in an NGO. Last year Lydia moved to Belfast and now furthers her research on multidisciplinary design in a postgraduate Design course at Ulster University.

Mark Devlin (Fathom)

Mark graduated with a degree in Visual Communication from the University of Ulster and has over 6 years’ industry experience as a User Experience Designer. He previously worked for RepKnight beginning as an intern designing their cyber security application and eventually progressing to the Head of UX and leading the design of both of the company’s product offerings. He is passionate about solving problems for people by understanding their needs and utilising user centred design principles to improve their experience of the digital and physical services they use.
