Behind the scenes with the Indeed UX Team

Join us for an evening of mingling and conversation at the Indeed Seattle office! We’ll host a chat with a group of content strategists, designers, design technologists, researchers, and writers from Indeed. They’ll share a bit about their career paths, how they work together, and advice that has helped them get where they are today. The panel will take questions during the discussion and recommends adding them in advance using the link below. Light food and drink will be provided.

Annabeth Carroll, Design Technologist
As part of the Profile team, I design, prototype, and build features to help people looking for jobs to create effective resumes. Outside of work, I enjoy playing board games, baking delicious treats, and visiting as many coffee shops as possible.

Kira Cassels, UX Researcher
I have been a UX Researcher at Indeed since January 2018. Currently, I work with the Job Seeker Profile team to conduct qualitative studies, in order to help people looking for jobs effectively represent themselves to employers. When I’m not working, I enjoy rock climbing, attending concerts, and spending time with my son.

MaCherie Edwards, Sr UX Designer
I’ve been at Indeed since January 2017. I’m currently on the Interview Experience team, improving the scheduling process and working to reduce the number of candidates who do not show for interviews. In my spare time, I like to cook, eat, pretend I'm Beyoncé in spin class, go to concerts, and watch a little too much TV.

Iryna Krutenko, International Product Lead
I am part of the International Product team and work with the Resume Search and Job Seeker Profile product teams in Seattle, focusing on growing Indeed resume products in international markets. I moved here this summer from Austin, where I worked at the main Indeed office since 2016. Being new to the city, I enjoy exploring Seattle and Washington State in my spare time.

Nicole Martinez, UX Content Strategist
I work on the Resume Search team, Indeed’s candidate search product for employers. I co-design features that help recruiters find candidates for open roles, specifically focusing on creating clear, directional copy. In my free time, I enjoy going to comedy shows and learning about self-care, tarot, and astrology.

Tracy Umeda, UX Writer
In 2018, I joined the newly-formed Content Strategy team at Indeed. I recently completed a content redesign of the Indeed Community forums platform. I also work on a variety of UX content projects in support of our Job Seeker and Employer teams. Outside of the office, I enjoy gardening, discovering new restaurants around town, and traveling.

The Indeed Seattle office is located in the Russell Investments Center at 1301 2nd Ave, Seattle, WA 98101. Take the elevator to the 13th floor. You’ll need to sign an NDA at the reception desk. Please bring your ID.

/ Parking /
The building's parking garage is open from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. The evening rate (after 5:00 p.m.) is $10 and the garage is accessible on Union St between the SAM and Russell Investments Center. The office is easily accessible by public transit.
