Time to get outside and dance under the skies and on the Bridge. Join us at Coohills’ Beats on the Creek, a summer concert series featuring diverse music every Tuesday beginning July 9th and ending August 6th. This is a unique, outdoor environment, on a bridge over Cherry Creek in Lodo. Admission to the event is free. JUL 9 - Mr. Majestyk's 8-Track Revival JUL 16 - The Merger JUL 23 - Under a Blood Red Sky AUG 6 - The Long Run Bar and Patio open at 3:00 pm; Bridge opens at 6:00 p.m.; Music begins at 6:30 p.m. Food, wine and cocktails will be available for purchase on the bridge. The building features secured, covered parking for $5 after 5 p.m. (please note: if you park before 5 p.m. you will be charged the hourly rate). Self parking is found by turning off either Wynkoop, or Wewatta, where the Public Parking signs are found. Signs in the garage lead you to the restaurant.
What to expect... Well if you can sew perfectly or have never touched a machine, this is the event for you. This group is all about making sewing social. making something together and enjoying the company of others while you sew side by side. Its about sharing a hobby or creating a new one. This meet up is just about bringing people together in another way with a fun laid back environment and a beer or 2. This event you will be working only on Sergers. I supply them all. I know they can look intimidating but trust me on this.. I got you. They are easier then a sewing machine and I will show you how. I have taught so many people how to serge. Join us in a 4-5 Mile Hike to view the wildflowers and vistas! Bring lots of water, snacks and cameras as you will want to take lots of pictures.
