Lake Ridge Toastmasters

Need to brush up on your professional speaking and networking skills? Looking to meet a few new people in the area? We are an open-to-all gathering of casual enthusiasts and professionals who meet every Wednesday night to give short prepared or improvised speeches, exchange stories, and perform constructive peer evaluations, with an enjoyable follow-up social hour (or two) at a local restaurant right down the road.

Average meetings (http://lakeridge.toastmastersclubs.org/membershipinfo.html) comprise about 15-25 members in audience, featuring two to three prepared speeches, followed by a peer evaluation session. There is an opportunity for everyone (guests included) to participate in the improvised "Table Topics" session mid-meeting.

Meetings are held every Wednesday from 7:30pm - 9:15pm at the Tall Oaks Pool in the community room in the top floor of the pool house. Entrance is at the front of the building opposite the pool; we are right inside the big red doors! Look for the building on the corner lot of Hedges Run & Cotton Mill Drive. Parking is available in the Tall Oaks Pool and Fantasy Playground parking lot.
