Meetup – Fall Colors Hike Starved Rock, IL - October 19, 2018

This Meetup is again back on for the original place and time. Floyd Bednarz has volunteered to lead it after Jan broke her toe.

• What we'll do
Take a hike and enjoy the fall colors, canyons and bluffs at Starved Rock State Park, IL Drive on your own and meet us at 10:15 am in the Starved Rock Lodge hotel lobby (near the fireplace). At 10:30 am, we will hike to LaSalle Canyon, which is about 4.5 miles round trip and is considered strenuous as there are many stairs and uneven terrain. We will see canyons and bluffs made from St. Peter's Sandstone. At approximately 1:30 pm we will meet for lunch at the Pink Chihuahua restaurant, 700 La Salle St, Ottawa IL.
