What we're about

Welcome to our local neighbourhood group ! This is a group for people who would like to support each other in new healthy beginnings. One step at a time :) We would like to explore simple strategies together: short neighbourhood walks and warming up in a cozy coffee place afterwards. Inspirational conversations, sharing empowering experiences, victories, no matter how trifle and insignificant they might seem - it is more about an attitude they setting big goals ! Think .... ENJOYMENT, FEELING BELONGING IN A FRIENDLY GROUP AND PARTICIPATING ACTIVELY !! This group is not intended to encourage medical "quick fixes" like "cure it alls", but rather embracing small changes in habits and everyday living style. Some of the activities we envision for this group are: participating in simple exercises like a light yoga stretch, a walk, beginner dancing class. For that we could occasionally invite a volunteer trainer . All levels, ESPECIALLY beginners are welcome ! With no exclusions ! (PLEASE make sure, though, that your doctor recommends you light movement regiment !) Come out for an hour on your day off and meet your neighbours - it might be a lucky day for me or you !
