Who we are?

People living in Tokyo and wanting to get into a more international environment, or those wanting to work in an international company! Or maybe you're working in a foreign investment firm and want to be able to use English/Japanese better! Maybe you just have a small pool of friends! We have people from all over the globe, and many successful business persons attending our language exchanges. Anyone interested in international community or developing deeper friendships come on out!

About attendees

An American man leads Workers' Language Exchange. Many Japanese people join here as well as many American, Australian, British, Canadian, Chinese, Korean, Indonesian people etc. No matter where you are from, you are welcomed.

Purpose

To make connections with people in different lines of work, overcome cultural and language barriers and develop friendships you couldn't find at work or in your daily activities!

Dress code

We call it Workers' language exchange but the dress code is casual!

Workers' Language Exchange is sponsored by Lifehouse International Church (http://tokyo.mylifehouse.com) but has no Church related content.

概要

今現在、東京に住んでいて、もっと国際的な環境に飛び込みたい、国際的な仕事をしてみたい。あるいは外資系の会社で働いていて、もっと英語を使えるようになりたい。理由はいろいろあるけど、とにかく国際的なコミュニティに興味のある社会人の方、歓迎です。Language Exchange Tokyoは東京にあっても、とても国際的で世界中のいろいろな国から来て、様々なバックグラウンドを持って、社会で成功している方が多く来られています。結構深い話ができるかもしれませんよ。

参加者について

アメリカ人の男性の人がWorkers' Language Exchangeをリードしています。日本人の方ももちろんたくさん参加されるのと同様、アメリカ人オーストラリア人イギリス人中国人、インドネシア人など多くの国の方に参加していただいております。

目的

東京で働く様々な業種の人との交流を促進し、さらには人種や言葉の壁を超えて、職場や日常生活だけでは得ることができない友達関係を作ること。（商売目的、勧誘不可）

英語/日本語の練習になる？

もちろんです。バイリンガルの人、英語または日本語のどちらかならよく喋れる人などが多く参加しています。ただの英語レッスンでは期待することができないリアルな英会話を楽しみましょう。自信をつけること間違いなしです。

服装

Workers' Language Exchangeと言う名前がついていますが、ドレスコードは特に設けていません。普段着で大丈夫です。
