Language Mix is a cool event that meets up weekly to exchange different languages and meet new people from around the world. Started in 2015 in Shanghai, it's become one of the best places in China to practice a new language.

How does it work?

Simple. You just find the registration table when you enter, put on some flag stickers that represent your native language and the languages you want to learn, get a glass of beer/coffee/water, and join a group! We recommend showing up on time if possible, but any time is fine.

Where are we meeting?

Language Mix meets up to practice languages in the relaxed environment of a bar or coffeeshop. We want to take you far away from the language classroom and show you what languages are for: talking to real people and having fun!

When are we meeting?

We meet up once every weekend! Check the event calendar for details.

Do I need to speak English or Chinese fluently?

没关系/no worries! Spanish, French, Japanese, Russian, German, Korean speakers and more are all welcome. As long as you can speak any language, you're welcome to come and share your experiences.
