Language Mix Weekend (Blue Marlin)

Language Mix Weekend is a cool event every Sunday afternoon that promises to give you some fun conversation practice while meeting new people from all over the world! You can practice any language: English, Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, French, German and more. At registration, you'll receive different flag stickers that represent your native language and the languages you're practicing. This will help you to find a conversation partner/group. Just look for a small table near the entrance when you walk in to get started! There is a very small entry fee (35 RMB) that comes with a free drink and helps support the event and language learning across the city. Hope to see you there!

Directions from Jing An Si Station/静安寺站

1. Coming from Exit 3, turn left onto Nanjing Xi Road and walk until Chang De Road.

2. On Chang De road, turn left and walk until Yu Yuan Dong Lu.

3. Turn right onto Yu Yuan Road and walk until you see the Blue Marlin on your left. You have to go around a fence to enter!

4. Once inside, look for the host (Tommy/Parham), who will be at table with flag stickers. That's where you register!
