What exactly has to happen on the internals for your simplest PHP script to actually produce "Hello, World!" on your screen? I'll explain in some detail all the steps that PHP has to go through to make that happen when you are using the CLI. From your script it generates the tokens, from those the AST, from that the OpArray which will be executed on the VM which will ask the SAPI to ask the OS to show a string in your screen.
