Vegas Startups and Entrepreneurs — AI Metamorphosis
This Meetup is a rebrand of “Las Vegas Startups and Entrepreneurs.” We respect the original name and intent: a serious, welcoming room for startups, small and mid‑size business owners, and entrepreneurs who want to grow—through fundraising, strategy, finance, and marketing.
Why rebrand? Because business is changing form. “Metamorphosis” (from Greek metamórphōsis → Latin metamorphōsis) literally means transformation—and that’s what the AI Revolution is doing to companies, markets, and careers. Since 2024, AI crossed a threshold: models, tools, and now AI agents can execute real work—research, outreach, analysis, writing, operations, support, reporting—at speed and scale. The next wave is agentic AI (systems that plan, act, and iterate). Post‑LLM architectures (think world‑models like JEPA), tool‑use, and multi‑agent systems are widening what software can do. Whether you call the destination AGI—or, longer‑term, forms of machine sentience—the competitive landscape is being repriced right now.
A few data points (2025) make the direction unmistakable: 88% of organizations report regular AI use in at least one business function (McKinsey) • 82% of leaders expect “digital labor” to expand workforce capacity in the next 12–18 months (Microsoft Work Trend Index) • 78% of organizations used AI in 2024 (up from 55% the year before), and generative AI drew $33.9B in private investment in 2024 (Stanford AI Index) • Markets price leverage: public cloud/software averages ~5–6× revenue (BVP Cloud Index); many traditional small businesses sell for ~2–3× earnings (BizBuySell). Upgrade a niche company with an AI operating layer and you can dramatically enhance that multiple of EBITDA—with better systems → better unit economics → better story → better terms.
Translation: the old guard won’t be disrupted by “bigger teams,” but by smaller teams with compounding leverage: human + AI + agents + distribution. Execution speed becomes a moat. Capital efficiency becomes a weapon. The upside can look like radical abundance—new products, new workflows, new categories. Think in layers: cash‑flow → systems → agents → data → distribution → story. The goal isn’t to “use AI.” It’s to redesign the company so performance compounds. That’s the logic behind premium tech/AI valuations: scalable growth + strong margins + defensibility. Build the stack. Then raise smarter.
Fundraising is shifting too: investors reward velocity, capital efficiency, and evidence of execution—especially when AI changes unit economics.
What we do (holistic, full‑stack: fundraising + strategy + finance + marketing—accelerated by applied AI, agentic systems, and frontier tech for an AI Metamorphosis): we turn ideas into execution and execution into measurable results. Expect hands‑on clinics, build nights, demos, templates, and an ROI scoreboard—not hype. We’re optimistic, founder‑grade, and action‑biased: we share playbooks, ship, and compound learning together.
We’re built for two types of members:

  1. Business owners (pre‑AI) doing an “AI metamorphosis” to modernize ops + marketing + sales: lead capture → instant follow‑up → scheduling → proposals → pipeline discipline; ops/finance automation (invoicing, collections, reporting, customer support).
  2. AI‑native founders building startups designed for the agent era: agentic products, multi‑agent workflows, AI‑first GTM, rapid MVP shipping; fundraising built on proof, velocity, and capital efficiency.
Topics we actively work on: Fundraising (narrative, positioning, deck teardown, traction metrics, runway, term sheets, investor fit) • Strategy (positioning, moats, focus, partnerships, what to build next / stop doing) • Finance (unit economics CAC/LTV, pricing, cash flow, budgets, KPI dashboards) • Marketing (distribution systems, outbound, content engines, funnels, retention, community loops).
Signature formats: Metamorphosis Clinic (live teardown → rebuild with AI + automation) • Agentic Ops Lab (bring a laptop; build real workflows) • Fundraising War Room (deck + metrics + targeting; no fluff) • AI‑Native Foundry (idea → MVP → distribution tests → demo night) • ROI Demo Night + Founder/Operator Matchmaking.
What you can expect in your first 30 days (if you show up and execute): identify your #1 profit leak + your first AI “quick win” • deploy at least one automation/agent workflow that saves time and speeds revenue • create an AI Operating Map (humans, agents, tools, handoffs) • leave with next steps for fundraising, strategy, finance, or marketing that are specific and measurable.
Culture and standards: no hard selling from the stage (value first), we are welcoming, sharp, and execution-focused • bring specifics, not vibes (share constraints and metrics) • high‑signal, Silicon‑Valley‑style: ship, measure, iterate—then share what worked • protect privacy and run with human oversight.
If you’re curious, you’ll get clarity. If you’re serious, you’ll get leverage. Bring a laptop and at least one workflow to transform or a company to transform.
