    Due to the Covid 19 outbreak and quarantine mandates established by the State of Nevada, LVVBC is suspending formal rides with a designated Ride Leader until the Governor lifts the stay at home order and fully open businesses . When we do ride again, Face masks or face coverings will be required at the start, any stops and regroups, and at traffic signals and stop signs encountered during the ride to protect our other members in attendance. The ride is typically around 30-35 miles, round trip, beginning and ending at the Einstein Bagel Shop on W. Cheyenne at Soaring Gull Drive near Durango. We hang out after the ride for coffee and a bite to eat with our free bagel day on the 3rd Sunday of the month for dues paying members only. There may also be a Flatlanders group ride which is a flatter and shorter route at a slower pace and great for beginners. The status of quarantines and self quarantine will be re-examined at that time. This week we'll go a little farther south than the Wednesday rides have gone before. This route heads south through Sun City, then Anasazi, Pavilion Center, Town Center and Hualapai, and returns north on Grand Canyon, Hualapai and through Sun City. The ride is 31 miles long with 1300 feet of climbing, and will average a little under 15 mph. The water stop will be at Mesa Park, with a second one at Crossings Park if necessary.
