    The ride is typically around 30-35 miles, round trip, beginning and ending at the Einstein Bagel Shop on W. Cheyenne at Soaring Gull Drive near Durango. We hang out after the ride for coffee and a bite to eat with our free bagel day on the 3rd Sunday of the month for dues paying members only.

    There will also be a Flatlanders group ride which is a flatter and shorter route at a slower pace, that should finish at the same time as the main group.

    This weeks routes are

    The STAGES 2021 route is about 34 miles with 1073 of vertical gain. Pace will be 14-17 mph, or faster if you download the route and strike out on your own!

    The Flatlanders loop is a little shorter at approx. 27 miles and 840' of vertical gain and misses the climb above Shaumber and cuts off the Log Cabin spur but makes the store stop at Green Valley Grocery at Decatur

    We ride the Tropical Loop - LIGHTS REQUIRED - Earlier start to beat sundown as we progress out of Spring.

    NOTE THE 5 pm START TIME THIS WEEK

    Bring your mask - its required for rest stops and re-groups, and remember to maintain social distancing at the start.

    the 24 mile long route climbs up to FT Apache north to Gilcrease then Hualapai or Grand Canyon to Skye Canyon , down Log cabin thru Silverstone, Horse Loop turn on Bradley and back. The shorter options go north on Tenaya to cut-out the climb , thru Silverstone with a flat option to extend to Aliante

    Rolling pace on the long route is 14 to 17 mph to get back before dark!!

    Lights are recommended front and rear - reflectors make you more visible - the route has a few stretches that dont have street lighting - so bring enough front lighting to monitor the road surface if we run late past sundown.

    Bring a mask and plan on wearing it at the start, all re-groups and rest stops, And remember, we practice social distancing per the Governor's directive.

    As we update all our club routes, downloading the route maps is highly recommended.

    The Wednesday routes for each week will be posted several days before the ride. They are generally 30-35 miles long, and average about 15 mph. A water stop is included near the midpoint. A route map is posted so that each rider can download it to his or her own device.

  • LVVBC Ride, Picnic Potluck, Meeting. 9:00 AM START from LONE MTN REGIONAL PARK

    We will meet at the Lone Mountain Regional Park, right off of Lone Mountain and the 215 at 9:00 AM for a new route out Centennial to Lamb with a shorter option turning on Centennial to Alexander.
