What we're about

We come together to learn about Portland's tech field. Our meetings are to support each other as we learn the technologies involved in this fast growing industry. And to provide mentorship opportunities in order to create and promote a more diverse Portland Tech Culture.

*** This group is open to ALL who are interested in software development for educational and/or professional purposes and regardless of ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, nationality, etc. Our purpose is to encourage diversity in technology! ***

April 2019 Meetup

We are at Vacasa again for our April 30th Meetup! This time for an Intro to CSS Grid. Introduction to CSS Grid by Lauro Silva: CSS Grid is the most powerful layout system available in CSS. It brings a two-dimensional layout tool to the web, with the ability to place items in rows and columns. The importance of grids in modern web design is high so this new spec solves a lot of age-old problems with laying out elements in-browser. Through code examples and demos, you’ll walk out ready to start using CSS Grid!
