On May 30th, let's welcome Tom Blomfield, Cofounder & CEO at Monzo.

The fintech startup was created in February 2015 to build a bank that is "as smart as your phone": real-time spending notifications, zero fees (even abroad!), free and instant transfers to other Monzo users, clear budgeting tools and an API to build with.

The team raised $45.05M - and successfully raised money through two crowdfunding campaigns (https://www.crowdcube.com/explore/2017/03/29/monzo-breaks-records-in-its-22m-funding-round) on Crowdcube, raising £1M and £2.5M.
