Today David will explain the main ideas of quantum computing in simple terms, and he will describe the types of problems that we hope to solve using quantum computers.

David will then describe the QUBO model, which is a type of problem that is well-suited for certain kinds of quantum computers, such as the D-Wave system.

Finally, he will demonstrate his experiments with solving Sudoku puzzles on a quantum computer.

After this talk, you will be able to conduct your own experiments in quantum computing.
