6pm - 8pm- demoing VR and AR products from a variety of VR/AR companies in Toronto.

Discover Labs
One of our main presenters demoing will be Discovr Labs. Discovr Labs is a VR company that makes VR products that uses simulation as an education and teaching tool, and used from everything from medical training to edutainment.
Redefining Evertyhing:
Dan Zen, and he is a Professor of Interactive Media at Sheridan College. At the Meetup he will give attendees the opportunity to try Microsoft's Hololens. Arguable considered a more groundbreaking technology for Microsoft than MS Windows!

Eye-Live Media is an innovative Virtual Reality company will demonstrate the new and amazing ways Virtual Reality and wearable tech can change the way we experience playing sports and how we watch live events!

8pm to 8:30pm- We will have a panel discussion with AR/VR pioneers who are bringing Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality for mass acceptance and adoption from the general public
Panelists:
Amanda Cosco
Amanda Cosco is a journalist and entrepreneur focused on the intersection of fashion and technology. She has reported on cyborgs, wearable technology, smart fabrics, and augmented retail for the Toronto Star, the Globe and Mail, CBC, WWD, and Wareable—to name a few. She is also the founder of Electric Runway, a future fashion event and content series for covering and discovering fashion tech.
David Zhang
David Zhang is the founder of the Vanguard Experience Center. VEC offers bookable VR experiences free from line ups and the buzz of a trade show floor. David will be addressing VR from a user and consumer stand point.
David Hamilton
David Hamilton is a technology writer, multimedia journalist and entrepreneur who is exploring the possibilities of VR and AR to tell true stories and to communicate complex information through immersive experiences. He co-founded VR Co-Op, an initiative to connect Toronto’s VR community and share equipment, knowledge and opportunities. David is also Managing Director of Lab T.O. Co-working, which serves as the physical location where VR Co-Op members can gather to collaborate on projects.
