How did you hear about DCLSC?

Saw it recommended to me via another meetup group.

What do you hope to get from -- and/or give to -- DCLSC?

I embrace Eric Ries' work and aim to employ significantly in my latest venture. As such, I hope to both hear and share experiences in pragmatic application.

What is your specialty (or specialties) with respect to start-ups?

Have started and built three multi-million-dollar-per-year ventures, all without outside capital. sold the first one for tidy sums in 2003, and hope to see #2 in a transaction soon. As a software engineer with tons of client-facing experience, I have had to participate in just about all roles needed by a scrappy startup that wants to go form zero to solid in less than a few years. I am very familiar with building out a technology services firm in this manner, but do not have much experience doing so for a one-hit/big-hit product company (though I did a lot of learning at one).

Software engineer and serial bootstrap service entrepreneur. I might not be lean, but my startup is.
