Summer Sessions

YES!Delft will host one of our meetups once again :)

This time we'll be experimenting with new, interactive formats in which all participants can either share knowlegde, lessons learned or pitch challenges for which they seek advice or help on a decision.

Drinks and snacks will be served at the venue.

Program:

• 17:00 - Welcome

• 17:15 - Pitch your session

• 17:30 - Block of Sessions #1

• 18:15 - Block of Sessions #2

• 19:00 - Block of Sessions #3

Session formats:

Ask an Expert:

You get 15 minutes one-on-one with an expert of your choice, while the audience listens in. Allow the expert to introduce him/herself, then take a few minutes to frame your challenge and how they can help you. After 15 minutes other people can queue up behind you for similar questions. If at least two are queing up, the first person will have to leave.

Group advice:

Take up to 5 minutes to explain your challenge. Pick something specific, and if possible, load up artefacts and examples on the projector. It’s great if you can show things like prototypes, screens, the actual product or your metrics dashboard if necessary.

Cross the line:

Take up to 10 minutes to explain a dilemma or though decision you're struggling to make. After that the audience will have to split in two; each side represents one possible outcome of your decision. Once the room is divided a 20 minute discussion will take place in which the participant can take notes. People can move from one side to the room to the other based on that discussion. You'll commit to taking a decsion once the discussion ends based on which side of the room has the most people.
