Chinese 101 - Lesson 2 (Still not too late to join!)

Xiexie (thank you) for joining and coming to the meetups! I know many of you are interested in joining the classes during the past few weeks, I am hosting another series for the new learners starting on July 14th. Beginner class is designed for students who have No or Very Minimal prior exposure to the Chinese language and culture. The class will introduce pinyin and basic grammar. It covers topics including greetings, self-introduction, introducing someone to others, asking for permission and asking for directions. Writing will be taught but not emphasized. By the end of the class, students are expected to be able to have a basic conversations in Chinese. This semester of classes starting on July 14th for 10 weeks. The book will be sold on Please register via Meet up or emails. Looking forward to having you there! Students should plan on at least two hours of homework and study time per class.

Fee: 10-week session (1 hour weekly): $200
A minimum of 5 students is required to open a class.

- Please bring a note book and do homework! Please expect 2 hours outside of class study time per week. Learning  Chinese only one hour a week is not enough! Use all the resources you have to help you.  Class is designed to teach you how to speak and use your vocabulary in real life situations.  Study and review is very important for how well you will do in this class! 
- Recording is welcome during the lesson :) Please let me know if you will be absent during certain dates, and I will make sure to update/ record classes for you.
