Our free, beginner-friendly events are designed to introduce you to the in-demand field of cybersecurity through workshops, panels, info sessions and industry speakers. No experience is required — just show up, and learn something new!

Curious about Python and how it’s used in Cybersecurity? Flatiron School’s introductory cybersecurity workshop is a great place to start!

Join Flatiron School as one of our lead cybersecurity instructors dives into coding and its role in cybersecurity! Follow along as your instructor demystifies programming for the beginner by covering the 10 core concepts of coding in any language – with simple examples in Python in under 10 minutes. Then they’ll discuss how coding skills are helpful in keeping data secure, ensuring privacy and defending against cyber threats.

  • Examples of how cyber professionals use coding for security
  • Examples of the main job opportunities for cyber bootcamp graduates

Who is the workshop for?
No experience is required to attend! If you’ve had some experience with cybersecurity in general, there is still a lot to learn from this workshop.
