In this class, you will learn (https://www.meetup.com/Learn-Salsa-Dancing-in-Studio-City/events/54256252/) basic foundational salsa steps. No experience or partner is necessary. The first half of the class will remain consistent each class, going through the Basic Step (https://www.meetup.com/Learn-Salsa-Dancing-in-Studio-City/events/75301252/) and introducing basic leading/following skills and musicality. The second half of the class will vary each week, giving the Beginner student a chance to learn a variety of moves. Get ready to have a lot of fun!

No experience or partner required. The class are targeted Beginners, and lead by professional dancer and instructor Marisa Hamamoto.

Wear comfortable clothing - for those who sweat a lot, bringing an extra shirt is recommended
Dance Shoes. For those who do not have dance shoes, dress shoes with a slippery sole (non-rubber) are recommended
