LIVE STREAM: https://youtu.be/y2kGHDn86OA
The exponential growth of data, both available and collected, has led to issues with traditional data collection and analytics strategies. A solution to this inability to keep up with this growth of data has emerged in Apache Kafka. During this talk, Kevin Tinn will take you through the industry’s transition from transaction-based processes paradigms to event-driven architectures using data streaming, powered by the Confluent Kafka platform on AWS. Utilization of modern data streaming platforms and techniques provides your organization the ability to introduce massively scalable, event-driven architectures that provide real-time analytics and reactivity to real-world events, as well as the ability to scale to support high-volume influxes of data without missing a beat!
AGENDA:
6:30 - 6:45: Networking/Food
6:45 - 7:05: Talk about Event-Driven Architecture
7:05 - 7:35: OvervIew of Kafka
7:35 - 8:35: Kafka Lab with AWS
8:35 - 8:45: Q&A
