From Ironhack to Google : One UX Alumni's Journey to Silicon Valley

Danny Rodriguez registered for Ironhack's UX/UI program on December 18, 2016, just days after dropping out of his final year of Accounting at Florida Atlantic University. Upon graduating our program, he worked his way through local South Florida Medical-tech companies reaching Lead Designer status at both MDLIVE and Healthtrust/HCA; Even returning to the Ironhack hiring fair as a partner to hire 2 new graduates for his team.
April 2018, Danny took a chance at applying to Google via a mutual connection at Ironhack and after 4 months of interviews, was invited on site for a potential position in Seattle. Though deferred from the initial position, Danny was contacted a week later with a contract to join the Google Assistant team at Google's main HQ in Mountainview, CA.
