Intro R: Lists and Essential Functions

In this class we will go over the basics of lists and essential basic R functions. More essential functions will be covered in the following week's class. Topics to be covered are as follows:

• List basics, including nested lists and indexing
• Merging: Inner, full, left, and right joins
• If/then statements
• Replacing values
• Missing values (types, exploration, and removal)
• Changing column names

Real world examples with real data will be used to teach these concepts.
