Understand how to get your idea off the ground
Understand scaling pitfalls & how to avoid them
Real world practical execution

In this startup session with Lucy Mc Kenna (https://www.linkedin.com/in/lucymck/) and Jess Hayden (https://www.linkedin.com/in/teabutton/) will bring you through a journey of tuning in to what drives you, identifying problems you want to solve and then creating solutions for them.
In this session we will:
-Explore your individual values and how these can help you to navigate the scary world of starting a new venture/adventure.
-Help you tap into your passions and surface your frustrations which are often fruitful avenues for business creation.
-Take each problem area you're interested in and use tools from psychology and Design Thinking to reframe problems and generate innovative solutions for them.
-Illustrate the importance of feedback and systematic research in developing your ideas and getting prototypes into the hands of your potential users.

Lucy is a Learning design specialist, coach and personal development expert. She has extensive experience in designing and delivering innovative learning programmes that build resilience and support people working in fast paced environments. She has worked with organisations such as Google, Eircom and Aer Lingus, across Learning & Development, Design, Project Management, Marketing and Sales. She now runs Full Aeon (https://fullaeon.com), where the overarching goal is to create happier people, teams and societies. Jess has been working on all aspects of people development for over 12 years. She has spent time consulting on large global people projects in Dublin, London and Sydney, establishing learning programmes for tech startup SoundCloud in Berlin, implementing organisational change projects for NGOs in Ireland and taught entrepreneurship and social entrepreneurship in UCD and An Cosan VCC. She now runs her own learning company, Elan Vital Growth & Innovation Ltd (https://elanvital.io) and works with clients across tech, public sector, NGOs, bio-pharma, research in Germany, the UK and Ireland.
