Both myself and Peter (who pays the Meetup fees for this group) are going to be withdrawing from organising this Meetup group due to high costs and the deterioration in site performance. I will be continuing to run gig socials, but via the Heylo site instead (https://heylo.group/leeds-live-music-arts-group) which will hopefully provide a better platform. Please feel free to join the Heylo site [if you'd like to organise events on Heylo let me know].
If anyone wants to take over running this meetup group, a link should appear in the coming days to allow you to do that, although once the free trial period is over the charges are likely to be high [we were quoted £280 a year, which is far too much given we don't attempt to 'monetise' meetups, however a new organiser may get a much reduced rate].

Leeds Live Music & Art Lovers hosts an eclectic range of cultural activities, from gigs and plays through to exhibitions and films. Most events are held in Leeds and the surrounding area.
The group's success is founded on a commitment from its members and everyone is encouraged to host their own events. The only restriction is that these should not promote individual business interests. Due to changes imposed by Meetup only organisers can schedule events but if you contact one of the team members they will post it on your behalf and set you up as host.
