Hey there Javascripters!
This month we've got a great talk from Anthony Brown about using Swagger to build Node APIs titled "Add some swagger to your web apis with node.js".
Here is a brief intro from Anthony:
"Web APIs are everywhere these days, but they are only useful if people know how to use them. This talk is an introduction to swagger (or open api specification as it is now known) as a way to document APIs, and how to write a rest type API in node.js that uses a swagger file to ensure that your documentation is always up to date"
We'll also have a quiz for the chance to win a code for a year subscription to Frontend Masters. It'll be a general knowledge quiz rather than a JavaScript specific one so that no matter your level, you can join in! Before the quiz there will be a little talk about the custom quiz engine that we're going to be using and how it works.
The talks start at around 7:00, but most people show up from 6:45 for pizza and to network and chat about all things JavaScript before the talk. After the talk we’ll be heading over to Headrow House to have a drink and to chat some more.
