Hi Everyone,
I know I promised Yiannis Taverna for this month, but I discovered that they are closed for renovations.
However, I'm excited to have discovered a hidden gem at the border of Allentown and Bethlehem. Red Hot 1 Chinese Restaurant has a Sichuan menu. I ordered the Chong Qing Spicy Chicken and it was delicious. (Although, I do not recommend it for the sensitive palate Lol). But don't despair, they have a basic chinese menu as well. I'm looking forward to trying some other unusual dishes.
Red Hot 1 is BYOB.
It's not a very big space, so if our group is larger than 12 people, we will have to have two tables, but I think this place is worth a try.
