Although I’ve not (yet) dined here, The Bayou comes highly recommended (and requested) by a few of our regular secular lunchers.
From Bayou’s website: It is a local restaurant that offers a creative take on classic New Orleans cooking. Young restaurateurs Cristian Duarte & Mo Taylor have brought a blend of traditional southern flavors and modern American cooking to create a unique take on Nola soul food. The Bayou’s interior and atmosphere match its cuisine’s unique blend of creativity and comfort.
The Bayou serves booze, so there’s no need to bring your own this month. There’s a nice outdoor seating area overlooking “the circle” of downtown Easton; hopefully the weather will be pleasant and we can enjoy the interesting setting.
Our lunch bunch is friendly and fun! We hope you join us this month for some delicious southern comfort food and our usual intriguing conversations. Newcomers and children always are welcome.
