Rock Climbing (Indoor Gym)

This event is hosted by Bill Zotter.

Rock climbing in a gym is not as difficult as you might think. If you can climb a tall rung ladder, then you can complete a first level 5-4 climb.
You are in a safety harness with a belay partner making sure you don't fall. If heights is a problem, then try bouldering. No harness needed. You climb in a "cave" which is only 6ft high.

Please comment on your experience level. Bill is no expert, but he can train you on the basics within about 30 minutes. Or, you can pay a little extra for a gym staff to train you.

Cost is $21 ($16 for a day pass and $5 for shoes and a harness if needed). Be sure to wear thin socks as it will make it easier to fell the holds with your feet.
