About us
Welcome to the Lehigh Valley Cycling Club's Meetup Calendar. Here we list our cycling events, and some non-cycling fun as well. Our recreational, social rides are available at various paces and will take you mostly around the counties of Lehigh and Berks. We are blessed to experience the beauty that makes up this part of Pennsylvania.
While we are happy to see so many take an interest in our Ride Calendar, following here does not grant LVCC membership. We would be thrilled to have you all become dues paying LVCC members! Here are some of the benefits:
* We offer a full schedule of road and off-road rides for all levels.
* Insurance coverage for uncovered expenses if involved in a LVCC ride incident
* Grill 'n' Chill rides during the riding season and Annual Picnic
* Annual Holiday Party
* Overnight/weekend cycling trips
* Last but not least, LVCC is host to the now-famous Donut Derby!
Please see our website www.lvcycling.club for more information and contact info.
Keep up to date with our "Latest News" linked from the menu on the site.
Participation in activities listed on this LVCC Ride Calendar constitutes consent to the LVCC's Release and Waiver of Liability and Code of Conduct.

Monday Morning Rouvy Ride - Bormio To Tirano Italy
·OnlineOnlineThis is a recurring LVCC virtual ride, at 9:30 am every Monday during the Fall & Winter season. If you RSVP to this ride and see an announcement of an outside LVCC ride on the same day, please check the attendees list below to see if others, including the ride host, have opted to ride outdoors instead. If I'm not doing this ride, it will not be deleted in case someone else wants to take the lead.

If you have previously participated in virtual rides using Rouvy and Discord, you know what to do. If you are new to this, then your first step should be to read this document: LVCC Virtual RidesEach week, I will publish in this Meetup, the name of the Rouvy ride that we will use. Launch the Rouvy application and search for this route. When the ride page appears, choose “Just Ride”. After waiting for it to load, you’ll see the start line, with your bike and avatar.
When you start pedaling, as soon as you see your avatar start to move, hit the pause button (“||”), at the upper right hand corner of the screen. As other riders enter, you’ll see a list of them on the left side of the screen. When everyone is ready, the ride host will announce the start of the ride, just as they would on an in-person ride.
If you plan to connect to the other riders using Discord, you should do this before joining the Rouvy ride, as Rouvy only runs in full screen mode or join Discord on a separate device like a smart phone or tablet. Join the LVCC Discord room at https://discord.gg/5hFczJU54Z. Click on the voice channel “LVCC Ride #1” to join the chat.

Sunday Gravel Ride/ Park Tour
Bob Rodale Fitness Park, 1148 Mosser Road, Trexlertown, PA, USSwitching things up with Sunday gravel rides (for now) from Bob Rodale Park.
I've drastically changed the Sunday repeating rides, and FYI! They'll probably become Saturday rides very soon. March 29th, will be Breinigsville local off road time! Start the week out right with some sweet gravel ride action.
Pace will be C, terrain will be variable from road down to double track. While there is no single track, there are sections with root crossings that could be hazardous, especially in wetter conditions. We will endeavor to call out such hazards ahead of time, just beware of off road riding since conditions can be highly variable.
NOTE! I"ll be riding a XC mountain bike converted to gravel. I ride 1.75" Vittoria Townee tires, which have a very smooth rolling surface. I will not be relying on knobby tires, but rather my technical skills. Please either have Batman like riding skills, or tread on your tires.
There is a tunnel crossing on this route! The downstream end of this tunnel may be muddy, so be aware of that! We don't want anybody getting fully mud coated unless they actually prefer to. It may be advisable to carry a light for the tunnel, as it's sufficiently dark in the middle to obscure debris washed downstream. If the stream is too high, we'll just route around the tunnel on roads and continue on. Fair warning complete!
I'll be wearing mountain bike shoes and using shimano SPD mountain pedals.
Average speed will probably only be about 10-12 mph moving speed, and we'll regroup as necessary. This is for fun, and is a great chance to learn of some routes previously unknown.
Here's the route I composed: Sunday Gravel Route 29-March-2026 so please download/ pin and have this in your GPS and FYI, I began my cycling career as a XC Mountain Bike racer. I have certain trail sensibilities and I'd love to share with riders interested in alternative routes and places.
As with all rides led by me (all LVCC rules indeed apply and if you've done one of my rides and aren't yet a club member, please join (-Join the Lehigh Valley Cycling Club, the Value is Undeniable-), otherwise... You may still ride with me and never sign nor join anything, but that just makes you a rando. I ride with randos as a matter of course. Always.
Please show up at least 5 minutes early and ready to ride with everything necessary to complete this unsupported! Ride will start out in the Bob Rodale Park with some playful cornering skills games, and other additional warmup activities, then we'll set out into the wild dirt yonder.
