Ride Leaders Meeting, Online Event

Online event

This meeting will be only for those with CURRENT ride leader status. We will discuss Club Guidelines and Group Recommendations for cyclists as they pertain to Covid-19 era event planning. We will relay decisions made by the LWA Board on how to manage group rides as we transition from our PA risk level of red to yellow. We will not be covering the issues normally presented at the annual Ride Leader Meetings, as the understanding is the current Leaders have that knowledge and are already practicing it. An event to welcome new Ride Leaders will take place at a future date. You will receive a link with a virtual meeting login, with your confirmation to attend this meeting.

CANCELED Rail Trail Ride Restart

D&L Trailhead Cementon

In anticipation of the LWA releasing group rides, I will be resuming the weekly rail trail ride. I mention "resume" since this ride was already started way back in the 2nd week of March, before all this mess happened. This ride will continue each Wednesday evening through the last week in October, weather permitting. Here's a little about the ride. Start locations will vary from week to week, so be sure to verify meetup location. Average distance will be anywhere from 15 to 22 miles with a pace from 12-14 mph. This is best suited for individuals with a fair amount of physical conditioning, as this is not a beginner ride. Social distance of at least 6' will be maintained and all CDC recommendations will be followed. Rain will cancel, check back on meetup for any last minute changes or cancellations.
