Raspberry Pi Jam
A monthly event for Leicester Hackspace members. This is great way to find out more about the Raspberry Pi and what it can do. The evening is also an opportunity to learn about other similar SBC platforms, The Raspbian OS, programming languages such as Python and interfacing your Pi to other electronics. Beginners and experts alike are welcome. Come and work on your projects and get peer-to-peer support and advice from seasoned veterans. There will be occasional presentations and show-n-tells. If you would like to showcase your project at this or future Pi Jams please get in touch with Divya or Steven. More details and discussion can be found on the Facebook event page: IMPORTANT NOTES: Hackspace Members please review the slack channel for access details to the new space. Whilst the event is strictly for members of Leicester Backspace and their accompanied guests, if you aren't yet a member but considering becoming one and would like to attend then please contact Divya and we will see if we can accommodate you. Visitors and guests please use the doorbell and/or call me when you get there and I'll come and let you in[masked] please arrive early and note I will not respond to Facebook messages on the evening. A donation from visitors and guests to cover attendance is encouraged. The Hackspace is on the first floor and requires ascending a flight of stairs. We do not currently have lifts or other facilities to assist wheelchair users or persons with mobility issues. Resolving this is a work in progress and we ask for your patience whilst it is dealt with.
